Job summary

EA Reg No: R1983223 is seeking a seasoned Compliance Officer in Singapore to develop and implement a robust compliance framework and advise senior executives, stakeholders, and the Board on all regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will possess deep Singapore regulatory knowledge, including SGX-listed environments and the asset management/funds sector, with gravitas to influence senior management.

The role requires extensive liaison with MAS and SGX, and a strategic, business-friendly approach

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a legal or regulatory compliance role including within the asset management or funds industry.
• Listed company expertise - proven track record of managing compliance for an SGX-listed company is essential
• Experience liaising with the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Singapore Exchange
• Comprehensive knowledge of the SFA, FAA and MAS Technology Risk Management guidelines
• A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance or Accounting. Professional certifcations highly preferred
• Gravitas and the ability to influence senior management and stakeholders
• Strategic and business-friendly approach in ensuring the company's compliance with relevant regulations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment
