Job summary

eMarine Engineering (Asia Pacific) PTE. LTE. is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support electrical installations, drawings, and cabinet electronics across marine, industrial, and automation contexts. The role includes on-site Singapore work, with project-based travel and occasional trips to China.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on electrical experience and strong English/Chinese communication, and training in marine systems will be provided.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical installations, drawings or cabinet electronics.
• Experience with energy-efficiency technologies in marine, industrial, or automation environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Work in Singapore with a mix of office, workshop, and onboard project activity.
• Travel on project basis; typical assignments are 2–4 days onboard with prompt return.
• Frequent travel to China.

Experience & Qualifications

Hands-on experience with electrical installations, electrical drawings, or cabinet electronics

Experience with energy-efficiency technologies in marine, industrial, or automation environments

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.

Experience working onboard vessels or shipyards is an advantage

Maritime experience is welcome but not required - candidates from industrial automation, electrical engineering, or controls environments are encouraged to apply. Training in marine systems will be provided.

Role Expectations & Travel

The role is based in Singapore, combining office, workshop, and onboard project work.

Travel is project-based and predictable. Most assignments are short-duration (2–4 days onboard), with return travel arranged immediately after completion. This is not a long-rotation offshore role.

Frequent travel to China is expected.
