Job summary

TECHTIMIA ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a Cold Room – Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair cold room and refrigeration units across warehouses, food plants, and retail environments.

The role requires strong technical expertise to ensure optimal temperature control for perishable goods and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a technical diploma or certification in Refrigeration/HVAC and at least 5 years of hands-on experience with refrigeration

Qualifications

Education: Technical diploma or certification in Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years with refrigeration systems, cold rooms, or HVAC equipment.
Driving: Singapore Class 3 license (Preferred).
Fluent in English (spoken & written) for report updates.

Responsibilities

Installation and Setup: Assemble and install cold room refrigeration systems per specifications and safety regulations; ensure proper wiring and functionality; calibrate systems for optimal temperature and performance.
Maintenance and Servicing: Regular checks, clean filters, inspect wiring, replace worn parts; perform diagnostics to prevent downtime; document activities and ensure safety compliance.
Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose issues (leaks, temperature inconsistencies, malfunctions); use testing equipment; repair/replace defective components with minimal downtime.
