Job summary

NETS is seeking a Senior Cloud Operations Lead to steer cloud engineering teams and drive operations aligned with our cloud strategy. You will own incident response, monitoring, patching, backup and disaster recovery, while collaborating with security and application teams to ensure compliant and resilient services.

You should have a strong background in AWS, cloud-native design patterns, and IaC automation using Terraform and CloudFormation, plus leadership experience in CloudOps within

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5+ years in AWS or similar cloud operations (Azure, GCP).
• Minimum 3+ years in a leadership or team lead role managing L2/L3 or CloudOps teams.
• Practical expertise in AWS service design and development of platform components or monitoring tools in AWS or other clouds.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of cloud engineers and guide issue resolutions.
• Partner with Cloud CoE, security and application teams to align operations with cloud strategy.
• Own and evolve incident response, monitoring, patching, backup, DR and compliance frameworks.
• Lead major incident management and RCA for critical cloud events.
• Develop deployable cloud design patterns aligned with application portfolio.
