Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a specialized Security Solutions Architect to work with our Financial Services customers. You will help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by identifying and tackling major security, risk, and compliance questions from stakeholders within financial institutions, and build CIO/CISO/CRO relationships with policy approvers and owners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technology domain experience (e.g., software, cloud, security, networking).
• Experience communicating to C-level audiences, auditors and examiners.
• Strong understanding of security, risk and compliance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by addressing security, risk and compliance questions.
• Participate in architecture discussions to address risk, security and compliance concerns.
• Educate auditors and examiners on AWS controls and third-party supplier arrangements.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIO/CISO/CRO and policy owners.
• Create high-quality technical content (white papers, reference architectures) for customers.
• Assess security knowledge across AWS teams and address gaps.

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
