Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Security Solutions Architect to work with our largest Financial Services customers, helping overcome barriers to adoption by tackling major security, risk and compliance questions from stakeholders within financial institutions. You will build and maintain CIO/CISO/CRO relationships and contribute to secure, compliant cloud deployments.

You will collaborate with AWS teams to educate auditors, design controls, and develop high-quality technical content such as

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technology domains including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• Experience developing technology solutions and roadmaps guiding IT transformations toward cloud computing.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences and at C-level, including training, workshops, publications.

Responsibilities

• Help overcome barriers to AWS adoption by identifying and tackling security, risk and compliance questions from stakeholders within Financial Services.
• Participate in architecture discussions to address risk, security, and compliance concerns.
• Educate auditors and examiners on third-party supplier arrangements and audits when AWS is in scope.
• Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIO/CISO/CRO and policy approvers and owners.
• Develop technical content, such as white papers and reference architectures, to assist customers in deploying secure and compliant cloud solutions.
• Assess security and controls knowledge across AWS sales and solutions architecture teams and develop plans to address gaps.
