Job summary

SCIENTEC CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cloud Solutions Engineer to design, build, and operate a scalable cloud platform across multiple providers from Singapore. Hybrid work arrangement with liaison to Punggol location supports automation, DevOps, and secure deployment practices.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, mentor engineers, and drive large-scale automation across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The role emphasizes secure CI/CD and platform services.

Qualifications

• Experience in backend or API development.
• Experience with Terraform and scripting (e.g. Bash).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment, and automation.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers, with a willingness to remain hands-on.
• Familiarity with agile development, secure CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.
• Understanding of or willingness to learn Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, and version control (e.g. Git).
• Interest in large-scale distributed systems and their challenges.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, and operations of a cloud platform as part of an engineering team.
• Support and guide development teams in building and deploying applications on the platform.
• Implement large-scale automation solutions, including cloud landing zones across multiple cloud service providers.
• Develop and maintain shared platform services used by multiple teams or organisations.
• Apply DevOps practices to improve automation, system reliability, scalability, and resilience.
• Build and enhance backend services and APIs, focusing on automation and secure deployment pipelines.
