Job summary

Millennium Technology Services Co. is seeking a senior Cloud Native Security Engineer to evolve cloud security and detection engineering at scale. You will design scalable security services and contribute to distributed platform components.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with Kubernetes, container platforms and multi-cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), plus strong programming in Go, Python or Java and API technologies like REST/gRPC.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cloud Native / Platform Engineering / DevSecOps.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Strong cloud experience in AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
• Programming in Go, Python or Java.
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC.
• Japanese language ability (JLPT N2) preferred.

This position focuses on highly scalable cloud‑native platforms, microservices architecture, cloud security engineering, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable cloud‑native security services
• Build microservices and reusable platform components
• Support enterprise cloud security and detection engineering initiatives
• Work closely with distributed engineering and platform teams
• Support Kubernetes, containers, APIs and cloud‑native infrastructure
• Conduct code reviews, testing and operational improvements
• Drive reliability, scalability and security best practices

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Cloud Native / Platform Engineering / DevSecOps
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and container platforms
• Strong knowledge of AWS / Azure / GCP cloud environments
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Programming experience in Go, Python or Java
• Experience with REST APIs, gRPC or similar technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging capability
• Japanese communication capability (JLPT N2 preferred)

Preferred Skills:

• Cloud security or cybersecurity product experience
