Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Singapore is seeking an experienced cloud-native software engineer to design, build, and deploy containerized and serverless applications on AWS/GCP.

You will transform our monolithic platform into a distributed microservices architecture with multi-region deployment, data residency compliance, and strong security and performance. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, Agile/SCRUM, and mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in IT with at least 3 years software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Golang, PHP, or equivalent backend tech.
• Experience deploying on AWS; GCP is a plus.
• Strong understanding of multi-region distributed systems and service mesh.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy microservice applications on AWS.
• Build scalable deployment platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native tech.
• Own and maintain mission-critical APIs within your area.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, product, and operations for compliant architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive engineering best practices.
