Job summary

Akkodis Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design, deploy and optimize enterprise cloud and hybrid infrastructure across AWS, GCP and private clouds.

You will lead automation efforts and drive high-availability, security and resilience across multi-cloud environments. Responsibilities include building scalable cloud architectures, implementing container platforms with OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes, and guiding engineering teams with technical leadership

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in cloud, infrastructure engineering or architecture.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud platforms.
• Strong VMware vSphere/ESXi and enterprise virtualization.
• Strong Red Hat Linux administration and infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on automation with Ansible and Puppet.
• Experience with Bash scripting and PowerCLI for infrastructure automation.
• Experience with OpenShift / Docker / Kubernetes container platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise SAN/NAS storage, backup, replication and disaster recovery.
• Experience designing and supporting high-availability infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, including Cisco, Nexus/ACI, F5 and firewall technologies.
• Experience working across complex multi-cloud, private-cloud and virtualised environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and configure enterprise cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions across AWS, GCP and private cloud environments.
• Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting mission-critical, high-availability and 24×7 enterprise services.
• Develop and implement infrastructure automation using Ansible, Puppet, Bash scripting and PowerCLI to improve deployment consistency and operational efficiency.
• Design and maintain virtualised infrastructure using VMware vSphere/ESXi, Red Hat Virtualization and KVM.
• Support containerised cloud solutions using OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Participate in PoCs and technical demonstrations for cloud, virtualization and infra solutions.
• Design and implement automated server provisioning, configuration management, patching and lifecycle management.
• Develop cloud migration and infrastructure transformation solutions, including migration of workloads to AWS.
• Architect solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, backup, storage replication, performance and capacity planning.
• Integrate cloud platforms with enterprise networking, security, storage and backup infrastructure.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to scalability, performance, resilience, security and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to infrastructure and cloud engineering teams.
• Collaborate with application, network, security, storage, vendor and business stakeholders to deliver integrated cloud solutions.
• Support enterprise infrastructure across Production, DR, Testing and Development environments.
