Job summary

sggovterp invites applications for a full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to deliver education in Cloud Engineering, cloud-native development, DevOps and related technologies. The role focuses on applied, experiential learning and mentoring students toward scalable, secure cloud solutions.

You will develop units, supervise projects, and contribute to curriculum development while staying abreast of industry trends, including AI and IoT, to enrich teaching and align with industry needs.

Qualifications

• Academic and practical cloud computing knowledge is essential.
• Hands-on cloud-native development and DevOps experience.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript; API/SDK integration.
• Strong teaching, mentoring and communication skills.
• Interest or experience in AI, IoT and cloud-enabled transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver learning units: Cloud Engineering & Cloud Native Development, Python, JavaScript, APIs, SDKs, microservices, cloud services.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, monitoring and automated deployment practices.
• Introduce AI, Generative AI, Data Analytics, IoT within cloud environments.
• Supervise student projects and provide industry-aligned guidance.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic quality processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate emerging technologies into teaching.
