Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an Associate Cloud Platform and DevOps Lead to drive cloud platforms and DevOps initiatives in a banking environment in Singapore. The role focuses on Azure-based PaaS, cloud-native services, and a robust security posture.

You will lead a team of cloud architects and engineers, set standards, oversee CI/CD pipelines, and optimize OpenShift-driven workloads across hybrid environments. Strong IaC, CIAM, and observability skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT, CS, or related field.
• 6–8 years cloud platform experience with Azure preferred.
• Strong IaC skills with Terraform, ARM, or CloudFormation.
• Extensive CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Hands-on with OpenShift container platform.
• Experience with CIAM (Ping Identity) implementations.
• Observability expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Application Insights.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or PowerShell; knowledge of VPNs, load balancers, API gateways, DNS.
• TOGAF and Azure Solutions Architect cert desirable.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specializing in Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP, with extensive use of cloud-native services, preferably in financial institutions.
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation, and hands-on experience with CIAM solutions, specifically Ping Identity.
• Expert-level experience designing, building, and maintaining complex CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins, along with production experience in container orchestration using OCP/AKS, including cluster management and service mesh.
• Demonstrated experience implementing observability solutions with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or Application Insights
• Advanced scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell for infrastructure automation, with a strong grasp of cloud networking concepts like VPNs, load balancers, API gateways, and DNS.
• Certifications in TOGAF and Cloud Architecture (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
