Job summary

HCLTech seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, secure, and manage enterprise cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. You will lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives, manage Kubernetes/OpenShift environments, enhance platform reliability, and drive cloud automation and operational excellence.

The role emphasizes Terraform/Ansible IaC, Python-based automation, CI/CD pipelines, and strong security governance to ensure resilient cloud services and scalable deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS enterprise environments and cloud architecture.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift administration.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and infrastructure tooling.
• Advanced expertise in Terraform and configuration management tools such as Ansible.
• Experience with monitoring platforms, SRE practices, and observability solutions.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage enterprise cloud environments, including AWS Landing Zones, multi-account, and multi-region architectures.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Administer and optimize production Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, including ingress, networking, and security policies.
• Develop automation tools and integrations using Python.
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines for cloud and application deployments.
• Implement monitoring, observability, synthetic testing, and intelligent alerting solutions.
• Remediate security and compliance findings from CSPM, vulnerability scanners, and security assessment tools.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and support high-availability, resilient cloud services.
