Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and support secure, scalable AWS environments. You will work with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver business value and operational efficiency.

You will focus on AWS Landing Zone/Control Tower, account governance, IaC and CI/CD pipelines, ITSM processes, documentation, and runbooks. Strong Python/Node.js, DevSecOps, and AWS certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a computing-related field.
• 2+ years in IT with AWS cloud implementation, admin, and support.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of AWS accounts within Landing Zone/Control Tower.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and coordinate provisioning.
• Ensure accounts comply with governance controls (GuardDuty, CloudWatch, logging).
• Act as primary contact for onboarding/offboarding and updates to stakeholders.
• Improve automation and efficiency via GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Incorporate security checks, code scanning, and artifact validation in deployment pipelines.
• Establish access controls using SCPs and identity security groups.
