Job summary

NCS, a leading AI Tech Services company in Asia Pacific, is seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect/Engineer to design scalable, secure AWS infrastructure for diverse projects. You will implement infrastructure as code, optimize costs, and guide DevOps practices across teams.

Join us to drive cloud transformation initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and ensure compliance across deployments while collaborating with project teams on client requirements. Remote-friendly with on-site support as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands‑on cloud operations and infra deployment.
• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure and services.
• Experience with cloud migrations and infrastructure as code.
• Networking, security and compliance in cloud environments.
• Experience with multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog).
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and agile delivery.
• Public sector or regulated industries background.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Job Description

• Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS
• Build and maintain cloud environments that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements
• Implement infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar automation frameworks
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and optimize resource utilization for cost efficiency
• Ensure security best practices are embedded across all cloud deployments and configurations
• Manage incident response and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with development teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Conduct regular security assessments and compliance audits in line with organizational standards
• Document cloud architecture, processes, and standard operating procedures
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and cross-functional teams
• Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure lifecycle management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance automation, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Support specific client projects requiring AWS cloud infrastructure design and deployment
• Participate in cloud transformation initiatives and migration projects as assigned
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver infrastructure solutions aligned with client requirements
• Provide on-site or remote support for project-specific infrastructure activities as needed

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in cloud operations, administration, and infrastructure deployment
• Strong proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services
• Demonstrated experience in cloud migrations, automation, and infrastructure as code
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and compliance frameworks in cloud environments
• Experience with multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog)
• Understanding of DevOps methodologies and agile delivery practices
• Prior experience in public sector or regulated industries
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional (mandatory)
• Additional AWS specialty certifications (e.g., Security, DevOps, Advanced Networking) are advantageous
