Job summary

LionsBot International Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend/Cloud) to design, build and scale cloud-native backend services powering our robotics platform.

You will own real-time APIs and data pipelines, drive DevOps, CI/CD, observability, security, and disaster recovery for global operations across 30 countries.

3+ years of backend experience, strong Golang and Spring Boot skills, and practical work with AWS/GCP/Azure and PostgreSQL/NoSQL data stores required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of professional experience building production grade backend and cloud systems.
• Strong experience in Golang, Spring Boot.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Neo4j, Kafka, Redis and TimescaleDB in production environments.
• Hands on experience deploying and operating services on AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Experience with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CICD pipelines, and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable cloud native backend systems and microservices that power and orchestrate our global fleet of robots
• Develop real time APIs and data pipelines that enable monitoring, control, and intelligent robot operations
• Drive DevOps practices including CICD, infrastructure as code, cloud deployments, and operational automation
• Establish strong observability, resilience, backup, and disaster recovery standards
• Contribute to security and compliance initiatives including ISO27001, SOC2, and GDPR through secure architecture and operational discipline
• Architect distributed systems that deliver high performance, reliability, and security at global scale
