Job summary

ALPS ENGINEERS PRIVATE LIMITED seeks a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team in Singapore. You will lead the design, planning and execution of civil and structural projects, ensuring safety, compliance and quality across deliverables.

The role requires at least eight years post-qualification experience, a Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD, ETABS and SAP2000. You will collaborate with architects and project teams on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience in civil and structural engineering (Senior).
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven track record leading design and delivery of complex civil/structural projects.
• Proficient in industry-standard software AutoCAD, ETABS and SAP2000.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of civil and structural plans, drawings and specs.
• Conduct structural analyses and calculations to ensure safety and integrity of buildings and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers and construction teams to coordinate deliverables.
• Identify and resolve complex engineering challenges with regulatory compliance and client expectations.
• Monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery with high quality.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to develop team capabilities.
