Job summary

Micron Singapore is seeking a highly skilled Chemical Senior Engineer / Staff Engineer – Construction to lead design, installation, and optimization of high-purity chemical and gas delivery systems in semiconductor facilities.

You will ensure safety, compliance with codes (NFPA, FM, UBC, UFC, UMC, IBC, IMC, IFC, NEC, SEMI, OSHA, NEA), and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years in chemical and gas system design and engineering in semiconductor/high-tech industries with strong knowledge of chemical and gas delivery systems.
• Proficient in CAD and process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen).
• Strong knowledge of safety standards.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer chemical and slurry delivery systems with piping, storage, and safety compliance.
• Provide construction oversight, review submittals, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
• Lead safety analyses, risk assessments, and ensure regulatory compliance across projects.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and develop as-built docs and operation manuals.
• Train operations and maintenance personnel on safe handling and procedures.
