Qualifications

Interest in carbon, energy and economic transition policy.
Comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders in public and external sectors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Driven, meticulous and resourceful.
Experience in policy-related work, sustainability or energy fields preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop strategies for national mitigation measures, leveraging carbon tax implementation and the Carbon Mitigation Programme Budget.
Lead the development of industry decarbonisation policies and incentive schemes.
Oversee R&D efforts into longer-term decarbonisation pathways.
Collaborate with Government, industry and international partners on strategic planning, policy analysis and partnerships.
