Job summary

Qualifications

Experience in policy review and formulation.
0 to 9 years of relevant experience in sustainability and energy-related fields, or engineering or science background.
Strong analytical skills with quantitative abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to quickly assimilate knowledge from diverse sources for policy recommendations.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Meticulous, driven and resourceful.
Leadership experience; coaching would be a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Develop strategies and policies to support the implementation of the Singapore National Hydrogen Strategy, focusing on hydrogen supply chains, long-term infrastructure and land planning.
Develop and implement R&D strategies critical to Singapore’s energy interests.
Engage with new energy and decarbonization-focused companies and funds to monitor developments and provide recommendations.
Develop and implement communications and engagement plans for Singapore’s alternative energy policies.
Monitor global energy developments and analyse implications for domestic policies.
