Job summary

OKX is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to lead architecture and development of high-performance trading systems in Singapore. You will own end-to-end design, reviews, and deployment, tackling low-level networking, memory management, and concurrency challenges in a Linux environment.

You will drive architectural improvements, implement automated tests and failure-injection scenarios, and help elevate engineering standards across a multi-language stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related STEM field; equivalent practical experience is valued.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building production C++ systems.
• Strong experience designing and evolving complex systems with architectural trade-offs.
• Proven knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, network programming, and performance optimisation in Linux-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, high-performance C++ trading systems.
• Design reliable distributed systems with consistency, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery across boundaries.
• Own work end to end—from proposals and design reviews to deployment and production debugging.
• Solve low-level system challenges involving networking, concurrency, memory, and performance.
• Dr ive architectural improvements by addressing systemic issues and redesigning components.
• Build automated tests, failure-injection scenarios, and monitoring for reliability.
• Mentor engineers and share knowledge through playbooks and sessions.
