Job summary

EPAM Singapore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C++) to build and modernize global electronic trading systems. You will deliver features end to end using SDLC and DevOps practices, improving availability, latency and performance while evolving architecture toward cloud and microservices.

You will work with business and engineering teams in Singapore and globally, delivering across the full software delivery lifecycle from development to production support, with a focus on performance,

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals and data structures, algorithms, software design.
• Hands-on experience building production-grade applications in C++.
• Working knowledge of Java or Python in production environments.
• Experience with Linux in development and production contexts.
• Understanding of distributed systems including microservices and service-to-service communication.
• Ownership mindset through delivery, production issues and continuous improvement.
• Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders in global teams.
• Openness to learning new tools, languages and platforms as the system evolves.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new features across the full software delivery lifecycle from development to production support.
• Monitor and troubleshoot trading services, improving availability, latency and capacity.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with clear trade-offs and delivery plans.
• Modernize architecture toward microservices and cloud adoption.
• Automate development and deployment workflows to improve reliability and release speed.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to strengthen observability and operational readiness.
• Contribute across C++, Java and Python codebases based on problem and runtime needs.
• Apply data-driven approaches, including AI tooling, to improve engineering productivity and analysis.
