OKX is seeking a Senior C++ Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of our trading counter and core trading systems. You will own end-to-end architecture, tackling low-level challenges and building robust, scalable infrastructure.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in production C++ and a solid grasp of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance. The role emphasizes ownership, cross-team collaboration, and opportunities to apply AI-assisted practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM field.
• 5+ years hands-on software engineering experience with production C++ systems.
• Strong understanding of architectural trade-offs in complex systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex, high-performance C++ trading systems.
• Design reliable distributed systems with consistency, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery.
• Own work end-to-end from proposals through production debugging and validation.
• Solve low-level challenges in networking, concurrency, memory management, and OS behaviour.
• Drive architectural improvements and refactor problematic components.
• Build automated tests, failure-injection scenarios, and monitoring.
• Design experiments to validate architectural assumptions and diagnose issues.
• Collaborate across heterogeneous tech stacks and sound engineering decisions.
• Explore and apply AI-assisted practices across code understanding and reviews.
• Raise standards through code reviews and documentation; mentor engineers.
