XTX Markets Limited is hiring a software engineer for the exchange trading development team (ETD). You will transform Quant ideas into production using C++ and Python, maintaining high-performance trading systems and data processing.

Expect to design infrastructure, optimize cross-domain components, and ensure system readiness as trading starts each day. The role emphasizes deep understanding of computer architecture, memory systems, and reliable long-running software in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of modern C++ and performance-oriented coding.
• Deep understanding of CPU execution, caching and memory hierarchies.
• Experience with Linux environments and scripting.
• Familiarity with FPGA/GPU programming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Join the exchange trading development team (ETD) and build/maintain XTX’s proprietary trading technology.
• Turn trading ideas from Quant Research into production using appropriate technologies.
• Design infrastructure and select hardware to run on for cross-domain optimisations.
• Ensure the system is ready when trading starts and tackle larger-scope projects to improve the platform.
