Job summary

Brenntag TA Team in Singapore seeks a senior leader for business development and strategic sales across life sciences, biopharma and chemicals. You will drive market strategies, manage major accounts, and lead complex bids to secure growth across regions.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in commercial leadership, broad knowledge of contract and service logistics, and a proven ability to influence C-suite stakeholders while delivering profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, Biopharma or a related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in business development, strategic sales or commercial leadership roles in life sciences, biopharma or chemical supply chain.
• At least 8 years of experience managing customers and growth opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of Contract Logistics and/or Service Logistics.
• Proven track record in large-scale B2B sales, contract negotiations, and business development.
• Experience developing growth strategies, sector plans, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence C-suite customers and cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience leading complex regional or global bids and strategic sales pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Strategy Management: Create sales plans, profit targets, and market strategies.
• Find new business growth opportunities in target markets and reach revenue goals.
• Lead high-value sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to contract closure.
• Monitor competitor activities and market developments to strengthen market positioning and competitive advantage.
• Take full charge of profit and loss (P&L). Build accurate cost estimates, pricing models, and proposals.
• Build strong ties with key customers and maintain executive-level relationships.
• Fix customer complaints and respond to special requests.
• Manage key accounts to keep customer loyalty high.
