Nova Group, a Singapore-based shipping company, seeks a Business Controller to partner with the business across FP&A, voyage profitability, treasury and financial governance.

The role requires extensive experience in ship owner/operator or chartering environments, with strong voyage accounting knowledge and proficiency in voyage management systems. You will drive monthly reports, budgets, and cash flow planning, while ensuring robust controls and reporting to support strategic decisions.

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant finance experience in shipping or a chartering environment.
• Direct experience with ship owners/operators or charterers.
• Strong knowledge of voyage accounting and voyage profitability.
• Hands-on experience with voyage management systems (Veson IMOS, ShipNet).
• Experience in treasury and financing, including cash management and banking.

Mansioni

• Lead FP&A and monthly management reporting with EBITDA and cash flow focus.
• Drive budgeting and forecasting for voyage profitability and liquidity.
• Prepare materials for board reviews and management committees.
• Provide cost and profitability analysis to support decisions.
• Manage treasury across currencies and vessels, including financing.
