Job summary

peoplesearch pte. ltd. is seeking a skilled M&E Engineering Lead to oversee operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building services in a commercial setting.

You will guide a team of M&E personnel and ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency across ACMV, electrical, and building automation systems. Responsibilities include planning preventive and corrective maintenance, contract administration, and coordinating contractors to deliver high-quality results with minimal disruption

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Possess minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building or property management
• Must possess experience managing commercial office properties

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a team of M&E personnel in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building services and facilities.
• Oversee the upkeep of critical building systems, including ACMV, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, sanitary, and building automation systems.
• Plan and manage preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to ensure reliability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors, service providers, and maintenance works to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Administer service contracts, including procurement, tender evaluation, contractor management, and payment certification.
• Manage repair, upgrading, and asset enhancement projects from planning and budgeting through to completion.
• Review tenants' fit-out submissions and provide technical support on building services matters.
• Monitor utilities consumption, statutory compliance, and maintenance performance while identifying opportunities for operational improvements.
• Handle occupants' feedback and maintenance issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal disruption to operations.
