Job summary

Responsibilities

• Manage BMS and PMS projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure alignment.
• Ensure projects meet technical requirements, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction.
• Design, configure, and commission BMS and PMS systems; perform application engineering where needed.
• Program HMI, DDC, or PLC systems; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and reports.

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will execute projects related to Building Management Systems (BMS) and Power Monitoring Systems (PMS) for mission critical, commercial, industrial, and lifescience sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, fast learning and adaptability soft-skill and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in the built environment space.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution:

1. Manage BMS and PMS projects from conception to completion.
2. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
3. Ensure projects meet technical requirements, timelines and budget, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Technical:

1. Design, configure, and commission BMS and PMS systems. Application engineering expertise highly valuable.
2. Programming of HMI, DDC or PLC systems.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Engineer Competencies Matrix

1. Chiller Expertise Knowledge- Able to work and take over the program to do onsite testing.
2. Understand standard details drawing/Mechanical and Electrical.
3. BMS Software - EBO or Metisys or Siemens DesigoCC Knowledge
4. PLC Software - S7 or M580 Knowledge
5. Past project experience in fast paced environment
6. Good T&C troubleshoot Knowledge, able to self-driven
7. Documentation for Test report to meet the project standards
8. Open protocol knowledge (BACnet/Modbus/OPC-UA and others)

Project Planning and Management:

1. Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
2. Conduct site surveys and assessments.
3. Prepare and manage project documentation.

Collaboration and Communication:

1. Work closely with sales, engineering, and operations teams.
2. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
3. Provide technical support and customer trainings, if required.

Quality Assurance and Safety:

1. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations and company policies.
