Job summary

Paradex isn’t just another decentralized exchange; it’s the Everything Store for Finance. We’re building a high-performance backend for crypto derivatives, with an elite product engineering team and direct collaboration with leadership.

You’ll own features end-to-end—from protocol design to API/SDK development, monitoring, and performance optimizations—working on scalable blockchain systems using AWS, Kubernetes, and modern languages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally from ideation to launch within a strong engineering team.
• Proficient in Javascript, Python, Golang, Java and C++, with Solidity for smart contracts.
• Experience building on blockchain platforms and cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, blockchain tech, PoW/PoS, L1/L2.
• Interest in ZK-Rollups and cutting-edge blockchain technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a decentralized protocol for crypto derivatives trading.
• Develop APIs and SDKs to enable robust trade execution services.
• Monitor systems, alarms, analytics, and reporting for all services you build.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to align on project goals.
