Job summary
Sanofi-AVENTIS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Manufacturing Support Senior Engineer specializing in Upstream/Downstream biological processes to join the EVF Singapore team at Tuas.
The role provides SME-level technical guidance during startup CQV activities and through routine manufacturing. You will troubleshoot equipment, lead cross-functional improvements, manage deviations/CAPAs, and support Digital systems such as DeltaV and MES.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related Engineering or Science discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant working experience in a cGMP biopharmaceutical facility.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture is desirable.
- Familiarity with DeltaV and MES is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Identify the root cause of technical problems and resolve to ensure process and equipment availability.
- Provide SME-level technical expertise for upstream/downstream processes during startup and routine manufacturing.
- Lead cross-functional teams in process risk assessments, deviations, CAPA and change controls.
- Support project startup CQV activities and define DeltaV and MES workflows.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and drive continuous improvements for reliability and cost-effectiveness.
