Job summary

Plaud Inc. is building the next generation intelligence platform and seeks a senior backend/platform engineer in Singapore. You will own end-to-end evolution of the evaluation platform, implement SLA targets, and build reusable platform components used across product and engineering teams.

You will work with Go/Java, Kubernetes/Docker, and modern data tools, shaping data governance, security, and observability. Join a fast-moving team that values ownership and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend/platform engineering in production.
• 3+ years designing and operating distributed systems.
• Experience building shared SDKs and platform components.
• Strong DB design, HA, isolation, observability.
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows and automated evaluation systems.
• Secure production data access with auditing and masking.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end evolution of the evaluation platform and quality gates.
• Build and operate data governance, masking, and audit controls.
• Design reusable platform capabilities: SDKs and APIs.
• Drive reliability, SLAs, alerting, and incident analysis tooling.
• Apply AI/LLM techniques to replace brittle rules.
• AI-native engineering: use AI tools for coding, debugging, and docs.
