Job summary

H2 Games PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Back-end Engineer to develop and maintain scalable internal systems supporting our mobile game platforms.

You will design, implement, and optimize backend services, APIs, and data integrations, working with cross-functional teams to ensure robust performance and data integrity. You should bring 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Java or Golang, and strong knowledge of microservices, Linux, and database technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Min of 5 years of professional experience in a similar capacity.
• Proficient in coding and documentation habits, with attention to design patterns and principles, and focused on optimization.
• Proficiency in Java, Golang, Python and PHP; candidates with Java or Golang experience preferred.
• Familiar with Linux, MySQL, RPC, MQ, caching technologies, and microservice architectures; API development & integration essential.
• Strong understanding of business needs with track record on large-scale software platform projects; experience with user growth systems advantageous.
• Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and frontend frameworks such as React or Vue is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and proactive in solving technical challenges, driving solutions.
• Ability to collaborate across teams to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and build for internal systems and platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of back-end systems with front-end platforms and databases.
• Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of back-end systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth system operations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes, ensuring high standards of code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Document technical designs, implementation details, and system configurations for internal use.
