Job summary

Coinhako is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join the Payments & Wallet team. You will architect and build scalable backend services using Rails 7 and Go, design high-volume APIs for frontends and external traders, and ensure production systems remain reliable and compliant.

You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers, drive architectural decisions, and contribute to testing and tooling improvements. Prior experience in fintech or crypto is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of building scalable distributed systems with Ruby and Go
• Experience designing high-volume REST APIs
• Experience with fintech or crypto-related products is a plus

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable backend services using Rails 7, Go, Sidekiq, REST, and AWS
• Design and build high-volume APIs used by frontends and external traders
• Improve code quality and architectural decisions for production systems
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers across development stages
• Write and improve unit and integration tests
