Job summary

A technology company in Singapore is looking for a Senior Associate Software Engineer (Backend) to develop software and validate testing procedures. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of backend development experience, strong programming skills in Java and Unix, and familiarity with Golang, APIs, Agile methodologies, and CI/CD processes. This role involves cross-functional collaboration and providing project updates, supporting the engineering team in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Backend Development.
• Strong programming & scripting knowledge such as Java, Unix.
• Knowledge of Golang/Go programming is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of APIs such as RESTFul, gRPC.
• Understand Agile methodologies, CI/CD, GitHub.
• Knowledge of Databases such as PostGres, Oracle, NoSQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures.
• Works with Business Analysts to understand business requirements.
• Participates in architectural review process.
• Develops scripts and code for a feature and multiple modules.
• Defines deployment and release guidelines.
• Provides level of effort (LOE) and status reports.
