Job summary

Ambition Singapore is partnering with a fast-growing AI-driven fintech company building next-generation digital products for the financial services industry. They leverage machine learning and modern cloud technologies to deliver highly personalized user experiences at scale.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale the backend infrastructure powering AI recommendation systems.

Qualifications

5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
Experience building recommendation systems.
Experience serving ML models in production using Kubernetes, Docker, Ray Serve.
Strong knowledge of distributed systems and scalable backend architecture.
Familiarity with MLOps and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
Experience with recommendation pipelines, feature stores, model serving, ranking engines, or A/B testing is a plus.
Knowledge of LLM inference optimization (e.g. TensorRT, Flash Attention, Quantization) is advantageous.
Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and scale the backend infrastructure powering AI recommendation systems.
Work on production-grade ML serving platforms, optimize model performance.
Develop highly available, low-latency systems.
