Job summary

Shopee Singapore Private Limited seeks a backend engineer to design and build high-concurrency payment systems, using Golang, Java, or Python in a distributed services environment.

You will ensure data integrity, security, and disaster recovery, participate in end-to-end delivery, and apply AI-assisted tooling across design, coding, testing, and operations.

This is a backend-oriented role with basic frontend capability to ship complete features and support scalable payments across Southeast Asia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in scalable backend or payments systems.
• Experience with Golang, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Redis, Kafka, Linux, and cloud infra.

Responsibilities
