Job summary

Helius Technologies is seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Consultant to design, develop, integrate and test banking technology solutions across error handling, AI Ops and feature flag management. You will translate requirements into working code, configurations and integrations, supporting design through production deployment.

You will work with Lead Consultants to implement solutions, run tests, and contribute to runbooks, documentation and knowledge transfer within banking teams.

Qualifications

• 6–9 years of relevant experience in software development, system integration or technical consulting.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Engineering/IT or related field is required.
• Hands-on expertise in backend development with Java, Python or Node.js; RESTful APIs and microservices.
• AI/ML knowledge including model deployment, monitoring and alerting.
• DevOps and automation: CI/CD pipelines, IaC and automated testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and containers.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and prepare functional designs, configuration documents and technical specifications.
• Develop and optimise solutions for backend, AI Ops or feature flag management.
• Build integrations with APIs, databases, Kafka and monitoring platforms.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and runbooks.
• Lead or support deployments, data validation and hypercare.
