Job summary

Morgan McKinley Singapore is seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Credit risk & Regulatory Reporting to join its Wealth Management transformation team.

The successful candidate will drive business analysis across a multi-year program, specialising in Finance, Credit Risk, Regulatory Reporting and Core Banking, together with proven experience in business requirements analysis, impact/gap analysis, functional specification, data mapping, UAT and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10–14 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Banking or Financial Services.
• Demonstrable experience in Wealth Management / Private Banking environments.
• Experience in Credit Risk Reporting, including Limits, Collateral Management and Counterparty Risk.
• Experience in Local and Group Regulatory Reporting, with Basel IV exposure.
• Strong understanding of Core Banking and Loan/Deposit lifecycle.
• Experience across the full IT project lifecycle: requirements, workshops, functional documentation, development, testing, UAT, implementation and production transition.
• Knowledge of IFRS 9 reporting/implementation lifecycle and accounting movements, GL setup.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate workshops with business and technology stakeholders to capture and assess requirements.
• Collaborate with Finance teams and Regulatory units to finalize requirements for Core Banking and Credit systems.
• Perform gap analyses to identify business, functional and system gaps.
• Drive and coordinate application impact analysis and gap analysis from workshops.
• Define and validate functional requirements, data mappings and business rules.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and business expectations for data flows.
• Document BRDs, Functional Specifications and designs clearly.
• Build and maintain the transformation backlog and track deliverables to closure.
• Support and coordinate UAT, including planning, execution and defect management.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks, proposing effective mitigations.
• Participate throughout Elaboration → Build → Transition → Production lifecycle.
