Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Platform Solution Architect (Azure) to lead the data architecture for banking solutions. You will design and implement Databricks-powered data pipelines, ensure data security and privacy, and collaborate with governance teams to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience with Azure services including Azure SQL Database, Data Factory, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics, Stream Analytics, Azure Storage, Cosmos DB, and Databricks.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Databricks, including Spark, Delta Lake, and MLflow.
• Proven experience in data architecture and management, preferably within a cloud environment.
• Banking experience or a strong understanding of banking regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Azure Data Architecture within a banking environment.
• Design and implement data solutions using Databricks, including data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Implement data security and privacy protection measures.
• Coordinate with data governance teams to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor system performance and stay current with Azure and Databricks best practices.
