Job summary

Resorts World Sentosa seeks a Senior Technician to lead set-up, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of the resort-wide BGM system and related entertainment tech. You will perform fault diagnosis, routine inspections and provide technical support for events and operations.

You will assist with testing and commissioning, document faults and maintenance, and coordinate with contractors while adhering to safety policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma / WSQ Equivalent in Audio Engineering or related technical discipline
• 2–3 years of related industry experience with Diploma / WSQ; 4–5 years without Diploma / WSQ
• Q-SYS Level 1 certification or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred
• Working knowledge of professional audio systems and networked audio

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operation, monitoring and technical support of the resort-wide BGM system
• Carry out routine inspections and operational checks of BGM equipment and other entertainment systems
• Monitor playback and system performance, troubleshoot faults where possible
• Carry out first-line maintenance and minor repairs to technical equipment
• Assist with setup, operation, testing and maintenance of equipment for entertainment operations and events
• Assist with testing, commissioning and verification of repaired or new equipment
• Support changes to BGM configurations, schedules and playback requirements
• Respond to faults and escalation matters requiring specialist/vendor support
• Maintain records of faults, maintenance activities and equipment status
• Assist with management of BGM equipment, parts and inventory
• Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and service providers
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health policies
• Generate reports and assist in other technical duties
