Job summary

PwC Singapore's Financial Services Assurance Practice is seeking a Senior Associate to join a multi-disciplinary team delivering valuation work for asset and wealth management clients. You will review valuations of businesses, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments, and collaborate with managers to provide insights in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 4–5 years of valuation experience, solid financial modelling and Excel skills, and familiarity with S&P Capital IQ,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
• Typically 4-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in business valuation.
• Experience valuing private market investments with related valuation methodologies.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel skills.
• Experience with financial databases like S&P Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Bloomberg.
• Excellent communication and proactive client servicing.
• AI fluency and ability to write structured prompts.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in reviewing valuations of businesses, tangible and intangible assets, and financial instruments including equity and debt securities, derivatives, and options for financial reporting purposes.
• Performing valuations of private market investments, including private equity, private credit and venture capital, for financial reporting purposes.
• Supporting the preparation and analysis of financial models and interpreting commercial data underlying financial forecasts.
• Collaborating with Managers and Senior Managers on client deliverables.
• Contributing to maintaining and building client relationships under supervision.
• Mentoring and coaching junior team members and interns on valuation techniques and project tasks.
• Assisting in ad hoc project work and internal practice development initiatives.
