Job summary

Singtel is seeking an experienced TV Platform Operations engineer to support and optimize our IPTV/OTT delivery across on‑premises and cloud. You will monitor, troubleshoot and resolve incidents, implement changes, and coordinate tests with cross‑functional teams.

The role requires strong Linux/Unix skills, scripting, and knowledge of cloud and network concepts. You will work in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment with after‑hours support expectations.

Qualifications

Knowledge of IPTV/OTT and delivery architectures.
Experience with AWS cloud services and hybrid cloud environments.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix, virtualization and scripting.
Familiarity with 24x7 incident/change management processes.
Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

Operate TV platform across on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring service availability.
Monitor performance, reliability and availability of TV platforms and AWS infrastructure for continuous service.
Support incident management: fault isolation, troubleshooting and service restoration.
Troubleshoot system issues using logs, probes, scripts and diagnostic tools; coordinate with vendors for escalation.
Execute and validate changes per approved MOPs prior to production.
Prepare and maintain MOPs, docs, and implementation records for changes.
Coordinate SIT/UAT for system enhancements and rollouts.
Perform shift duties and after-hours fault response when required.
Maintain standby duty rosters for adequate support coverage.
Coordinate resources for planned maintenance and change implementation.
Maintain dashboards and monitoring platforms for visibility and performance.
