NTU Singapore is seeking a data analytics researcher to generate insights from internal and external data to support decision-making across the University.
The role involves building databases, developing analytics, and refining data collection processes while collaborating with stakeholders from multiple units to drive evidence-based strategies.
Generate insights from both external and internal data to facilitate evidence-based decision making at all levels of the University. Build databases, develop data analytics and implement strategies to optimize statistical efficiency. Refine existing processes and define new processes in data collection to support decision-making at all levels of the University. Work in teams of stakeholders across various units.
PhD in Social Sciences, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of applied statistics, empirical research methods and quantitative analysis. Experience handling, cleaning, validating and analysing complex datasets. Good coding skills; familiarity with Python and R will be advantageous. Ability to develop analytical models and communicate complex findings clearly to diverse stakeholders. Resourceful, resilient and collaborative, with good communication skills; data visualisation skills will be an added advantage.
