The Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) seeks an Energy Communications Officer to articulate MTI’s policies and developments to external stakeholders, with a focus on low‑carbon energy and nuclear energy in Singapore.
You will develop and implement integrated communications strategies, lead media outreach, plan public relations activities and partnerships, and provide strategic counsel to profile MTI’s work for a vibrant economy.
Minimum 3–5 years in media relations or journalism is required.
As Singapore pursues solutions to generate low‑carbon energy for the future, the Energy Communications Officer at MTI will be responsible for communicating the Ministry’s policies and developments (with a focus on the area of Nuclear energy) to external stakeholders such as the media, general public, students, by developing and implementing integrated communications strategies, media outreach and public relations efforts, and creative partnerships to support MTI’s mission to develop a future‑ready economy.
You will be responsible for communicating MTI’s policies to external stakeholders such as the business community, industry players, and the general public. You will provide strategic communication counsel for our policies, organise events and activities in the areas of public relations, media relations, stakeholder engagement and marketing communications to profile MTI’s work in developing a vibrant and dynamic Singapore economy (with a focus on low‑carbon energy solutions and nuclear energy).
