Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Aspen MES Programmer with 15+ years of hands-on experience to design, build, and support AspenTech MES solutions in regulated pharmaceutical environments. You will lead multi-site MES implementations, mentor engineers, and act as the go-to SME for architecture, integration, and validation strategy, ensuring GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and data integrity.

Qualifications

15+ years hands-on AspenTech MES experience in regulated pharma/manufacturing.
Experience leading full-cycle MES implementations across sites.
Proven ability to architect EBRs, recipes, and complex workflows.
Strong SQL & relational DB skills for data design and reporting.
Deep knowledge of GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and CSV.
Ability to mentor teams and communicate with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Serve as senior technical authority for Aspen MES across sites, defining architecture and standards.
Lead design and configuration of EBRs, recipes, equipment models, and unit procedures.
Own technical roadmap for MES platform evolution and upgrade strategies.
Architect integrations between Aspen MES and ERP, LIMS, and automation systems.
Lead validation, change control, and audits with quality and regulatory stakeholders.
