Job summary

Cognizant Consulting seeks a seasoned Senior Aspen MES Programmer with 15+ years of hands-on design, build, and support of Aspen MES solutions in regulated pharma manufacturing environments. The role requires leading complex MES implementations, mentoring engineers, and acting as the SME for Aspen MES architecture, integration, and validation strategy.

The candidate will drive technical leadership across IP.21, PEM, and related MES components, while ensuring data integrity and regulatory

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on experience developing, architecting, and supporting AspenTech MES in regulated pharma environments.
• Led end-to-end MES implementations across multiple sites and greenfield deployments.
• Expert in electronic batch records (EBR), recipe modeling, and complex production workflows.
• Advanced SQL and relational DB skills for data architecture and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5 and CSV practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical authority and architect for Aspen MES/IP.21 across sites.
• Lead design/configuration of EBRs, recipe management, equipment models, and unit procedures.
