Job summary

OCBC in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to drive data science, analytics and AI initiatives across cross-functional teams. You will translate business needs into analytical models, generate actionable insights and deliver scalable solutions that support growth and customer experience.

Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree in statistics, maths, CS or data science with at least 10 years of experience in ML, analytics and AI production.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Science, Customer Analytics, ML, or AI solution development.
• Experience with large datasets, statistical modelling, and advanced analytics.
• Strong programming skills and production-grade software engineering practices.
• Experience with distributed data platforms and ML/AI in production at scale.

Responsibilities

• Drive data science, analytics, ML, AI, and generative AI to create measurable business value.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact analytics opportunities to improve customer experience and risk management.
• Translate objectives into analytical frameworks and models, ensuring alignment with priorities.
• Develop and deploy ML/AI models, monitor performance, and optimize impact.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to source and integrate datasets for scalable analytics.
• Promote responsible AI and best practices in model development.
