Job summary

SAKSOFT LIMITED in Singapore seeks an experienced Application Maintenance Engineer with 6+ years to support and stabilize critical applications, perform root-cause analysis on incidents, prioritize defects, and coordinate production releases. You will develop and test in SIT/UAT environments and prepare for production deployment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in the role.
• 8+ years of relevant experience as per requirement.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and incident management.
• Experience with payment domain and SWIFT is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and environments.
• Familiarity with Open Payment Framework (OPF) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform root cause analysis on incidents and provide remediation.
• Prioritize defects and plan production releases.
• Develop programs and support SIT testing, UAT, and deployment.
• Maintain Production stability with risk/impact Assessments.
• Follow up on defect closures and meet KPIs.
• Share defect learnings with QA and development teams.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Recommend and execute improvements.
