In this role, you will handle the engineering, configuration, integration, testing, and technical implementation of security solutions from design through commissioning. You will work closely with project managers, technical managers, construction teams, commissioning engineers, clients, and third-party vendors to deliver integrated systems that meet project specifications, client requirements, and industry standards.
Prepare and provide technical documentation, including shop drawings, as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and programming matrices. Develop and review system architecture, security system designs, device schedules, and technical specifications. Ensure correct specifications and material orders are aligned with project requirements. Ascertain design needs and help develop project scope and specifications. Collaborate with customers, SM/PM, and relevant stakeholders to monitor work progress and support expedited installation. Perform inspection, setup, testing, and commissioning of electronic security system installations, including Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion Alarm, Intercoms/Public Address, and Electronic Lock and keys. Support factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), pre-commissioning activities, and troubleshooting. Identify and resolve system configuration issues, software-related issues, integration challenges, and technical queries. Promote and practice health and safety policies and procedures throughout project operations and client contracts. Carry out and encourage proactive customer relations. Provide on-site placement when needed.
