Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site ELV Project Leader to plan, execute, and close ELV projects. You will coordinate with customers, lead subcontractors, and ensure on-time delivery within scope and budget.

Ideal candidate has a degree and at least 3 years of ELV experience, with strong Excel, Word and Project skills, and the ability to work odd hours when required. Join a global team committed to safety and quality.

• Requires interaction with clients, consultants and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Act as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete assigned projects.
• Delegate tasks to ensure full project completion.
• Coordinate communication with customers during all phases of the project.
• Coordinate the work of subcontractors.
• Define scope, budget and schedule for device project implementation.
• Plan and oversee multi-project schedules with supervisor.
• Identify risks and propose resolutions.
• Establish effective customer communication and track progress.
• Ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC, and standards.
• Train customers and provide maintenance follow-up.
• Handover project to customer and service team.

What you will do

• Acts as on-site project leader to plan, execute, and complete assigned projects.
• Delegates tasks to execute and fully complete assigned projects.
• Coordinates communication with customer during all phases of the project.
• Coordinates the work of subcontractors.

How you will do it

• Define scope, budget and schedule for projects Device project implementation methodology
• Plan and oversee work schedule for the multiple small to medium scale project under responsibility, in coordination with supervisor.
• Identify potential project risks and recommend appropriate resolutions
• Establish effective communication with customer
• Track and update progress, task and project health to supervisors
• Ensure and monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Perform regular quality audit for all the suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Identify and secure variation order.
• Cost control. Track, monitor and ensure delivery of financial commitment as per CIS.
• Managing reports and documents
• Work closely with Sales team for tender bidding
• Supervision of sub-contractors’ work at site.
• Schedule purchase and deliveries of all materials for the project in a timely manner
• Assign task to, and supervise Assistant Project Engineer, Technician, if any.
• System applications, drafting, data base generation and commissioning Follow-up on payment from customers and verify payment to our suppliers.
• Train customer and provide first year maintenance warranty schedule visit.
• Hand over project to customer and later to service team.
